SB: CIC is fielding state powers in softball

The light is
going to shine brightly on the Central Indiana Conference this softball season.
Four of the eight teams in the league begin the year ranked in the top 20 of
their respective classes.

 

Mississinewa
is ranked fifth in 3A in the opening poll and is joined in the top ten by
Blackford which is seventh on the initial list. In 2A, Madison-Grant is viewed
as a major power. They are ranked second in the poll while Alexandria is 18^th
in that class. Here is a look at the complete poll in all classes.
