continues to enjoy a great deal of respect and Garth Cone is weaving his magic
at Alexandria. That is the story of this week’s poll of state basketball
powers. Ole’Miss is eighth this week in the 3A poll with a glossy 15-1 record.
The Tigers are now 14th in 2!. Here is a look at the complete poll

W: Bratcher leads 17 CIC wrestleers into next round

Six of the
eight CIC teams advanced wrestlers through to the semi-state round of the state
tourney during regional action this past weekend. The conference claimed just
one regional title. That belongs to Jackson Bratcher of East brook who took the
title at 171 lbs. in the Peru Regional.

 

Alexandria led the way by qualifying five
wrestlers to the next level. Five other squads each advanced two individuals.
They include Oak Hill, Eastbrook, Elwood, Mississinewa, and Blackford. In
total, 17 wrestlers wearing CIC colors will be competing next weekend
